For Christmas 2022 I was given a ROC Hobby 1:12 scale KommandeurWagen.  It was quite a surprise, especially as it was RTR (Ready to Run) and is highly detailed.  Once of the best true scale models I have ever seen.  It has working doors and lights, two forward speeds and 2wd and 4wd.  The high/low speed means you can tackle any terrain and navigate those obsticles, for more challenging terrain you will need it in 4wd mode, all these features are changeable from the transmitter.  It feels as though it could tackle any terrain.  The battery will last between 20 and 30 minutes depending on how you use it and sits under the bonnet and is charged via a socket to a USB socket.  So far I have used indoors on carpet and hard floors and also given it a little test outside on concrete and on grass to which it still moves quite well.

There are some good Youtube videos and reviews out there which are well worth watching.  Overall, even though this is an expensive RC Car it makes up for it in detail and ability.  I don't think there is anything else out there on the market which comes as close to detail as this model.  It is a shame they have stopped making it now as I would like a second car.

I will need to make a short video of this Beetle in action, the ones I have seen on Youtube are pretty good, especially where they show it going over different terrain.
