13th April 2014
The first show of the year for SCS held at Chichester College
The sun was out which was nice and to top it off I unexpectedly won 2nd Place for the Visitors Choice Award, receiving a commerative Plaque.
Sunday 5th May 2014
The second show of the year for SCS held at Newhaven Fort. Newhaven Fort is a good place to visit, you can learn about the Fort's history and the part it played in keeping the coast safe during WWI and WWII. Well worth a visit.
As we had brought the New Beetle, we had to park her in the far corner away from Bertie, but it wasn't too much of an issue.
Sunday 15th June 2014
The third show of the year for SCS held at Sheffield Park Gardens.
This year the area set aside for the show cars was the far overflow car park which mean't not many visitors came up to ponder over the classics on display. Being in the overflow car park meant we were a little exposed to the breeze which was blowing all morning, come the afternoon it had warmed up a bit and was more enjoyable.
Sunday 20th July 2014
The forth show for SCS held at the Brinsbuy Campus of Chichester College.
I was really pleased to walk away with the 2nd Place for the Brian Bennett Memorial Trophy.
Quite a few people wanted to know the key differences between the two Beetles and were happy to oblige. We had several informative discussions.

The fifth show of the year for SCS held at their spirital home of Worthing Rubgy Club
I was a little shocked to Win the Visitors Choice award
